Description
Happiness and Mindfulness
Thursday, Oct. 22 & 29 | 10-11:30 a.m.
I find mindfulness a wonderful practice that helps us see things more clearly, so we can respond appropriately and give ourselves what we really need.
It can be useful to learn to quiet. When we quiet, we can touch pain that needs our attention and respond to ourselves with compassion and affection. Sometimes, when we care for our pain, we also open the heart to notice and experience the joys of life.
Over two sessions, we’ll explore these ideas together and practice simple meditations to come home to the present moment.
Two 90-minute sessions, one week apart. Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions. In-person only.
