Description

Tucson Medical Center and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety are partnering to provide FREE car seats to families in need.

To participate, individuals must complete a free, self-paced online car seat safety course developed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the National Safety Council. The course covers how to keep children safe in vehicles as they grow, including rear-facing and forward-facing car seats, booster seats, and seat belt use.

Important: This program provides:

Convertible car seats: Birth to 50 lbs.
Booster seats: Children age 5 and older who weigh at least 40 lbs.

We do not provide infant carrier (rear-facing-only) car seats, and car seats cannot be shipped. All seats must be picked up by following the instructions provided at the end of the course.
