In the same way that our body needs rest\, our mind needs rest too — sleep is important for the mind but is not rest per se. Mindfulness is a framework and set of practices that can help us slow down\, reduce the stress-response\, and quiet the mind which can have a profound positive impact on our health and well-being. Participants will experience mindfulness practices during the session and also learn easy meditations for home practice.\n\nAbout the Presenter:\nGreg S. Dalder is a licensed clinical social worker. He is the lead grief counselor for TMC Hospice.
